Define test objects
The data should indicate test strips, standard parts, or customer parts, and record material batches, feedstock or pressing conditions, sintering heats, and heat treatment status.
Density and shrinkage are observed together
High shrinkage does not necessarily equate to high density. Local density differences can also cause anisotropic shrinkage and deformation. Density, critical dimensions, porosity and surface should be evaluated together.

When the project focuses on hardness, strength, elongation, wear resistance or corrosion resistance, the test method and specimen status should be clarified to avoid using industry typical values as a guarantee for a single batch of products.
