Project Goal: Balance complex shapes with comprehensive performance
Thin walls, holes, ribs and small structures need to be filled stably. At the same time, the size, strength, corrosion resistance and heat treatment response after sintering are required to meet the purpose of the part.
Common difficulties: balance between filling capacity and sintering stability
Merely increasing fines or reducing feedstock viscosity may shift the problem to separation, debinding, shrinkage or surface stages and needs to be evaluated from the complete process chain.
Tongcheng plan: establishing the starting point of materials based on measured particle size data
The particle size or formula direction can be evaluated based on Tongcheng's existing D10, D50, D90 data and combined with customer wall thickness, flow length, gate, feedstock system and sintering furnace conditions. (17-4PH)
Verification focus: short shot, size, density and aging performance
It is recommended to record injection defects, debind integrity, sintering shrinkage, critical dimensions, density, surface, and hardness or strength in the target heat treated condition.
