Material properties of 440C powder

440C is a high-carbon martensitic stainless steel. It can obtain high hardness and wear resistance through appropriate heat treatment, and is suitable for cutting edges, friction and long-term wear conditions.

440C Can be used on shear components, personal care tools, bushings, wear-resistant structural parts and small precision tools. Powder forming facilitates the manufacture of complex contours and reduces subsequent machining.
